REAL ESTATE SHIELD PROCESS
Quick Intro call
An Admin will call the agent to quickly explain how Real Estate Shield works, and to make sure expectations on both sides are clear. The Admin will ask for pertinent information about the property and/or terms of the contract. We will ask the Agent about their clients and their needs to ensure we are communicating in the time and manner most convenient for their client.
Establish Contact with All parties
An Admin calls parties in the transaction to make sure they understand Real Estate Shield’s role in the transaction and set clear expectations on communication.
Begin Document Review Process
Once the Agent submits all relevant documentation, disclosures, and reports the Risk Management team will meticulously review all the documents looking for any key information and any areas of concern.
Risk Management Clearing
The Admin will ensure all documents have been reviewed and schedule a video conference with Agent, if they choose to be in the meeting, and their client at a time that is convenient for them. The Risk Manager reviewing documentation will go over those documents, answer any questions, and note any key concerns the clients have.
Efficient Document Review
Once the Risk Manager has completed the meeting, he/she will follow up with any questions or concerns that were brought up during the meeting. The Admin will send Agent the recorded meeting and transcript for their file.
Closing
Clients receive 365 days of post-closing legal coverage. If the Agent's client has legal issues with the property during that time, Real Estate Shield will set up a legal consultation with our Real Estate Attorney to discuss legal recourse available at no charge.
